We use colored label protectors (from Brodart) to cover the spine labels on
materials for our branches.

Subject: color on spine labels

Hi,

Since there is a new thread starting related to spine labels I thought I'd
ask "Is anyone using color in some way to differentiate books belonging to
one branch vs. another?"

We have four libraries across our seven campuses and display the location
above the call number on our spine labels. Still, things get sent to and
shelved in the wrong building. We are reviewing our spine label production
methods and I'm looking for some way we can incorporate color into the label
without sacrificing readability. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Candace
