Recall Notices

Good Day,

1.  We want to set up a recall notice so that it is sent out 7 days
before the item is due.  Basically a courtesy notice but only for those
items with holds on them

2.  We want to send out subsequent notices on a different schedule than
the overdue notices.   In other words the first overdue recall notice
should go out 7 days after the due date and the third should go out 14
days after the due date.  (Our schedule for overdue notices is every 30
days.)

Innovative has indicated that it can not be done within the system.  Has
anyone done this?  If so how?  Has anyone sent out notices just using
SQL?  Changed the appropriate counters in the record?
