Hello--

Many thanks for the answers to my previous question about setting up my own catalog as a "remote" database. You've made a lot of people here happy.

Next question involves actual remote catalogs: Is there any good resource for the information needed to set up these catalogs available anywhere? I can spend a lot of trial and error time (and indeed have done so already. Among the institutions I'm looking for information on are:

NBINet (Taiwan)
CALIS (China)
Waseda University (Japan)
Keio University (Japan)
Georgetown University Law Library

The disconnect is that the staff here know they want to search these catalogs, but they're generally ignorant of details like server name, port, type, etc. I'm not entirely comfrtable yet with III's setup (it seemed uch simpler in our old system--but then it didn't always work there either).

Any general pointers from Z39.50wise folks out there would be much appreciated.
