Hello all,

We discovered a slight anomaly with our expired holds and closed
days.
Because of the Easter break I added Thurs (24 Mar), Fri (25) and
Monday (28) to our closed days table - Saturday and Sunday are
permament closed days. I did this last year as soon as the Easter
holidays were announced.

As far as I know the "Time to Pick up" option for holds in the loan
rules should not count closed days. However, we have found that
loans that were placed on Wednesday 23rd were included in our in
our expired holds list when we printed it out on our first day back
on Tuesday 29th.
To confuse things further the printout actually gives the correct
expiry date - eg EXP. DATE 01-04-2005
Our query is why should holds that expire on 1 April appear the
expired holds list dated 29 March?

Has anyone had a similar experience?
Many thanks
Colin
