Hi,
 
I am new to this position as well as the Innovative System, and I have
some questions associated with subject headings and indexes.  We have a
curriculum collection for the education students in our library.  
 
Are there any libraries that use both LC and LC subject headings for
children in their catalogs?  I am making the assumption that there would
be a lot of duplication between the two types of subjects.  If I am
wrong please correct me as I do not have access currently to a listing
of the children's subject headings.  If you are using both systems do
you have separate subject indexes for them?  How does it affect your
authority control work?  If my assumption is correct that there is a lot
of duplication then do you have authority records for both types of
subjects or do you then only accept the "regular" LC authority record?
