Re: need help with problem loading Millennium

We have had this exact same problem. The first time it happened it took
us forever to figure it out. The second time it happened, yesterday, I
knew exactly where to look.

Symptoms - Launch Millennium. Millennium begins to start but before the
"Creating Menu..." box appears, Millennium closes completely.

If this is your symptom, the problem is Millennium refuses to play nice
with one of your print drivers and shuts down. III explained to me that
this was a java issue.

To find out which printer driver is causing the problem, start deleting
printers one by one. Restart Millennium between each delete. When you
find the culprit, add the printer back but use a different driver. You
might need to download a new driver. The culprit is probably an HP driver
so look there first.

Another way to find out if this is the problem is to login to the PC with
a login that has no printers associated with it, maybe Administrator or
something like that. If you can start Millennium without crashing, you
have probably found your problem.
