As long as there is a discussion on setting up a SCAT table, I have a different question. I am setting up the table for a medical library and have a question about how to do the 19th century call numbers. For those of you who aren't familiar with these, they are like this:

QZ L476 1807

Subject classification without a class number and then the cutter

Can these be in the same table as the other NLM classification numbers that would have letters and number classification and then the cutter?

I have tried every combination that I can think of and they still do not work properly. They file in the SCAT table correctly but when I run a report, they do not show in the report even when I know we have an item with that classification number.

Any suggestions would be welcome.
