Thanks for the information so far - I think I forgot toe include some
information, as far as what I'm looking for exactly. I need a title by
title list - is there a way to do that and specify the dates? In other
words, I need a list that contains titles, issn's, and then their usage
counts for lets say, the month of February. I know how to run the basic
list, but I don't know who to do it including dates.

Thanks,
Amanda

Hi Amanda,
I keep internal stats, but I have found that the system count is
inaccurate. I have new records that have been used (their item records
show the usage)-- but the count at the end of the day is not high enough
for even those records. I told my system person. She made me document
it with the item records and dates and numbers. I did. III has not
done anything with the information. She told me it was put into
'research', so there will not be an answer.
But most of the time the stats ARE there. You find them by going into
Circulation, Additional, circ Statistics, [login] Inhouse use, choose
options there...yesterday, day before, months and years.
If you ever find out why some stats don't get reported, please let me
know!
Thanks,
Marilee

Subject: Internal Use Counts

Hi-

I have a question concerning the internal use count feature. All of our
periodicals have barcodes, and so we scan the barcodes in order to track
the internal use, but is there a way to do that based on a certain
length of time? I would like to run a list and get usage statistics
either for the month, or for the year- can this be done?

Thanks,

Amanda
