Re: ERM question

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]
Right now we get our holdings data from an in-house database of
e-journal holdings that we have maintained for several years. As we
migrate each provider to ERM, we begin maintaining holdings for that
provider directly in Coverage Edit rather than batch loading holdings
from an external source. We plan to purchase EBSCO A to Z, however, to
manage "free" titles. A to Z makes it fairly easy to select free/open
access titles and export the corresponding holdings to a delimited text
file. We think that will be much easier than trying to monitor coverage
for these titles ourselves.

Hope this helps.

Could colleagues who use ERM tell me if they use it in conjunction
with
another product eg Serials Solutions, Ebsco's A-Z, Swets TitleBank
etc?
Or do you find that ERM manages it all for you? If you do use another
prodcut, could you tell me which one and why?

Many Thanks

Maureen
