For those familiar with Millennium Headings Reports:
1. The Headings Report indicates that one can "Limit to these
Statistics". I cannot find anything in the manual explaining this. I was
hoping one could create a "Statistical Group" to which a report could be
limited. Does anyone know how this limit is used?
2. This has our catalogers in a quandry:
One can check a heading ( or it becomes checked once one has worked with
it). There is a button to CLEAR--do you want to clear checked entries?
And
When one closes out of the Report, it asks if one wants to clear all
entries in the report. (If one says yes, by the way, it clears all entries
immediately without warning! Very bad design.)
For SOME logins, closing, and selecting NO, do not clear all entries: all
entries are preserved including checked entries. This seems reasonable and
is what we want it to do; after all there is a separate command button to
clear checked entries.
For OTHERS, selecting NO do not clear all entries: it keeps everything
EXCEPT the checked entries; these are deleted, even though we never ask it
to delete checked entries.
So in come instances (which seem to be logins?) checked entries are
retained when closing, in others they are deleted.
Does anyone know if this difference in behavior is coming from
authorizations? or settings?
