In terms of Metafind profiles, my III rep defined rewritten URLs as
follows, "The re-written URL is the URL
that you see when you actually access a database to begin a search."
In other words, the URL you start with as the link to the resource
(proxy rewrite format or not) sometimes actually changes to a new URL
once the resource actually displays on your browser. That changed URL
is the "rewritten URL" needed in the Metafind profile.

Dear ALL,

Sorry for my ignorance.

We have all the MAP tools(WAM, WebBridge & Metafind) up and running on

our server. I now have since been asked to submit re-written URLs for
profiling into our Metafind. Can anybody out there please help me on
the
steps to follow to find the re-written URL for a resource.

Thanks in advance.

Regards
/Bravo
