For those of you vexed by 240's appearing as the title on due-date slips, and who re-indexed 240's to be field tag "u":
Do you have name-title authority records in your catalogs? If you do, do they still provide correct and complete search redirection? I'd be interested to know. My impression is that for such redirects to work, the 240 fields need to be in field group "t"(and your title subfields in 7xx fields need to be in the title index as well). Many libraries, I'm sure, see limited or no need for name-title authority records, but in a collection with large holdings of music, particularly "classical" music, they are bread and butter. The due-date slip issue would seem an ideal candidate for an enhancement request that allows the library to specify a MARC field to print.
