From what I've read in the listserv archive, this happens when the user
has activated Content Advisor in IE. The problems will stop happening if
you have the user disables it.
Does anyone know if there if Content Advisor can be reset (rather than
disabled) so this won't happen?

We've about given up on IE also, since XP SP2. Netscape 7.2 works well
though.

|Personally, I've given up on "fixing" IE in these situations
|and refer the patron to the Firefox download page.

|I have a patron using IE 6.00.2900 who is having the problem
|of being redirected right back to the authentication screen
|after submitting valid authentication info. He is using a
|cable modem with a popular local ISP from whom I have almost
|no problems with other users.
|
|Most often this problem is solved by having the user change
|their cookie settings. In this case I have had no success
|taking this approach. Are there any other things I should be
|checking at this point?
