I haven't heard of any issues that arose from our decision to do this. It definitely fixed the Circ receipt problem. It has been a few years, but I believe III went into our settings and changed the 240 to register as a u instead of a t. This was in the field group listing, not the search index settings. I then had to go in and global update all of our existing 240s to u.

This sounds like something our library would like to do. Are there
any issues that have come up because of this change? Also, does this
affect the OPAC display? (When our patrons search by author or title,
they often don't realize that the uniform title is showing in the browse
display - and don't go any further.) Did you change the field group tag
yourself, using Global Update, or did III have to do it?
Thanks for any input.
