Hello all-

We recently had an incident where our staff patron records were deleted from the database due to an expired status (fun). Long story short, does anyone know of an automated notification, either directly to the patrons or to the library staff that can be set up to notify of upcoming expiration dates? Something along the lines of- your record is about to expire, please take the necessary steps to update your information with the library. Or tells us when ptype x is up for expiration and we may expediate the process this way. Currently, we are creating lists and basically rapid updating, but an alert function would be great.

I've looked through the manual and settings and do not see where an autonotice is an option.

Any thoughts?
