We removed all our dumb terminals and lantronix box about two years ago.
I had similar concerns to Angela's in making this change, but everything
has worked out fine. No problems to report on this.

I have my dumb terminal attached to a Lantronix box. I am considering
getting rid of it because it is the only thing I have attached to the
Lantronix box. I have several PCs in the room that I can use, but I am
conconcerned about the telnet session timing out when I do software
upgrades. I am interested in what others have done or recommend.
