On a separate subject but related to the Lantronix box: in my case, the
Lantronix slowed down the net traffic because we could only use
half-duplex and 10/100 connection to the Millennium server because of
the card. After I got rid of it, we brought it up to full duplex 100
t-based connection. So getting rid of the box has benefits.

I have my dumb terminal attached to a Lantronix box. I am considering
getting rid of it because it is the only thing I have attached to the
Lantronix box. I have several PCs in the room that I can use, but I am
conconcerned about the telnet session timing out when I do software
upgrades. I am interested in what others have done or recommend.
