When I contacted III a few weeks ago with that very question I was told that it counts "page elements". As the complexity of a page grows the number grows.

Hi All,

Would someone please refresh my memory? I know that WAM statistics
don't accurately count the number of visits to a particular URL, but
can't for the life of me remember what they do measure. Enlightenment,
please?

Thanks,
Stew
