Hello--
[mike ->] I've been following this thread for several days now and have had
similarly sad experiences with our 6210s. However, our library has an
additional complication: We connect to our Innopac via the Internet. We're
using the same ISP as does the institution that houses the box, but the Lord
only knows how many switches, hubs, bridges, routers, media converters,
RJ-45s, and firewalls our packets must leap through during a transaction.
My guess is that these hurdles are the cause of an endless series of SIP
errors, especially time-outs. Is this a fair assumption? Are any of you 3M
Self-check users also connecting to your Innopac through the Internet? If
so, is it fair to say that running a Self-check this way is problematic?
Or, is there some way to get consistently good performance?
Thanks
