Thanks to everyone who responded to my question regarding Database
Language. I've got what I need to send down the street to the IT
Department and their new DBA. This list is great for finding answers
and solving problems!

Hi, Deb,
The programming languages are listed on III's public web site, under
"technical information" as: "Innovative's Millennium server operates
under
UNIX, and the application code is written in C/C++ and Java."

Subject: Database language
The City we are a department of, is hiring a new IT Database
Administrator
and I've been asked to provide them with basic information on our III
setup.
The realize that we do not have root access to our server and that they
will
not be doing any coding or programing. But the question I have not
been
able to answer for them is "what language
is the database written in?" I've explained that the database is
III's
own proprietary database, but they would still like to know what
language it is written in. This is beyond my scope, so I'm turning
to
the list to look for an answer to their question. We're turnkey,
Millennium
2005LE, and NOT Oracle.
Thanks in advance for any info shared.
