We are interested in hearing from any large public libraries who may
have successfully migrated their on order records with holds from Dynix
Acquisitions to Millenium Acquisitions .

Our public attach holds to our Dynix on order records as soon as our
Acquisitions staff enter and release them. We wish to ensure that our
Dynix on order records, with bib level holds connected to the current
Dynix negative bar codes, will migrate safely in date placed
chronological order into Millenium. Millenium doesn't have negative bar
codes so how would the holds stay attached? If you've had a successful
transfer, is there also a way to ensure the holds stay at a bib level
and not change to item placed holds causing the pick-up locations to
change?

If any Dynix user's have migrated their on order records successfully
and can share what steps they took prior to migration to ensure the
safety of these orders and their holds, we would be very grateful.

Feel free to email or call me off list if you would rather discuss this
offline.
