I agree. It would be nice if ifts client were secure. Our campus is going to require secure ftp to access to any ftp servers on campus (which is a good move by the way) beginning next month. That means that I will no longer be able to retreive Patrons loads directly with ifts. I will have to pull them over to the local machine with secure ftp and then use Millennium to pull the files directly off the local machine or use a nonsecure ftpd on the local machine to make them available to ifts.

SSH is currently available from III (since last year) - you just need to
ask them to turn it on.
