Display of patron e-mail address in Millennium - can we turn off the underliune?

Our Circulation staff have raised a very legitimate 'beef' with the display of the patron's e-mail address in Millennium Circulation. Currently it displays as underlined, implying it is a link, perhaps to an e-mail program. The problem is that *all* of our undergraduate students and some of our others have an underscore character in their e-mail address, and with the underlining some staff have made some mistakes.
Does anyone know of a way to turn off the underlining for this?
