Hello,
Can 2 OPAC interfaces be created, one for in-library use and one for remote
access?
We do not wish to allow patrons access to the www from within the library.
That would constitute the OPAC machine becoming a public access internet
station. Internet Use agreements would need to be filed and patrons would
not have ready access to the catalog. We currently use CybaryN which
disallows entry to outside sites, but we do not want to disappoint our
patrons by having a visible Webbridge, Metafind, or Syndetics link that goes
nowhere. An in-house interface would be basic, the remote would offer full
access to outside resources.
Any thoughts?
Thanks,
