Hi everyone,

We don't have much Sendmail expertise here at the State Library of Western
Australia. We were wondering if anyone on the IUG list may have some
insights into the following.

We want to make sure that we receive innopac/millennium bounced emails so
that we can then action them appropriately. We can successfully send
emails out etc. What we are not able to do is to receive bounced emails.
We are aware that we can set aliases in sendmail so that (for example)
emails addressed to exporter at henrietta dot liswa dot wa dot gov dot au can be redirected
to an email in our lotus notes or microsoft outlook email systems. What
we have not been able to do is to receive notification on bounced emails.

We are a software only site. Our main IT section has advised that
sendmail is set up on our innopac/millennium server to receive bounced
emails, but I have my doubts. We have tested the export function to a
legitimate email and this works fine. We have also tested exporting to an
incorrect email and are not receiving any bounced email notifications.

We would appreciate any assistance in the Sendmail settings we need to
ensure that bounced emails are received by our innopac/millennium server.

Many thanks in anticipation.

P.S. we are currently running Silver 1.1 and as far as we are aware this
feature did not work when we were running previous versions of
innopac/millennium.
