The duplicate checking business in Millennium seems to be a major design flow. It's one of those things that just make me want to switch to a different library system. Duplicate checking is certainly useful for new records, but editing records is a different issue. There has to be a way to differentiate between these two functions (dup. checking for new recs and dup. checking for existing recs), but, according to Innovative, there isn't one.
Does anyone else find it irritating? Would this be a popular enhancement request?

Happy Holidays!

A related question - How do you get Millennium to stop asking if you
want to perform duplicate checking? Is it possible? I'd like to just
tell it once instead of always getting a dialog box that I have to
answer.
