This  position  is  located  in  the  library's  automation  section and is
responsible for the technical aspects of the library circulation system and
PC hardware and software. This position includes diagnosis, troubleshooting
and training.

Graduation  from  an  accredited  four-year  college  or  university with a
degree.  In  addition,  a  Masters  in  Library Science degree (MLS) from a
school  accredited  by  the  American Library Association. (Professional or
paraprofessional  library  experience  at a level equivalent to Supervising
Library  Assistant  or above may substitute for the required education on a
year-for-year basis).

NOTE:  Education  or  experience with personal computers and online library
automated circulation systems is highly desirable.
