Are the video cards different?
Two years ago there was a thread about adjusting the resolution on some
types of video cards.

Subject: Silver Client Installation

Six more days until we go live with Millenium Silver (from Dynix), and
I'm having trouble installing the Silver client on two of our PCs. The
installation process works fine, and the program even boots up just
fine. Unfortunately, any windows that pop up with messages (Login
screens, Printer selection, messages, OK to logoff, and all the others)
do not display the text or buttons. If I drag the message, the text and
buttons appear, although sometimes I need to click where the button was,
not where it is after dragging.

Anyway, this is an annoying little feature on only two out of ten PCs
in our building. And other libraries in our consortium are not
experiencing the problem. I've tried reinstalling and I've tried rolling
my eyes.

Oh yeah, we're on a Novell network, with GroupWise running. Other
computers on Novell are fine once we boosted the memory.

Celeron processor, 1.10 GHz
512G RAM
Windows XP, sp1

Please help our Go Live succeed!

Thanks,
Daniel
