Our customers fill out application forms. Branch staff enter the
information into the Innopac database. Forms are sent to our Customer
Service office where they are scanned, indexed and electronically archived.
Then the original forms are shredded. This way we have a copy of the
signed form that can be recalled if there is ever a question of financial
responsiblity, etc.

Please respond to IUG

I would like to gather some information on how other libraries handle
patron registration. Namely, do Libraries still keep a paper copy of
all patrons' registrations? If not, do libraries employ some sort of
check and balance system to verify staff members have entered the patron
information correctly?
Any information you would like to share, would be appreciated.
Thanks.
