Millennium Silver Printing Issues

We are having two issues with printing in Millennium Circulation.

Occasionally after checking out items to a patron and closing the record
a due date slip doesn't automatically print.  This has happened since we
upgraded to Silver. Has anyone else had this same problem?  

Another printing issue -since upgrading to Silver each time we print
after logging in we get a dialog box asking the user to select a
printer.  Does anyone know how to get rid of this box?  When we upgraded
to Silver we selected the option to save printer settings from session
to session rather than using login defaults.
