The ALIS Consortium (Nassau County, New York) Public
Libraries are attempting to update/customize our webopac.
We are having problems placing files in the screens
directories of either the "live" html files or the staging
files area. We have been able to logon to the server and
have been able to switch to the "/screens" directory. Once
we are in the screens directory our FTP client becomes
frozen. We are not able to see a list of files in the
directory. We have gotten as far as uploading a file and a
null file is created on the server with the name which we
chose to save it as; however no data has been successfully
transferred.
We have attempted to use various third party FTP clients
(cute FTP and ultra edit) to transfer the files, as well as
the Innovative built-in telnet client.
Any help you can provide to us would be greatly
appreciated.
