LCHKIN field alternate display

Is anyone using the "alternate display" for the LCHKIN field of an item
record?  We have the field turned on, and displays in our WebOPAC with the
standard display, which is the date only.

We have asked III whether, if we turn on the alternate display,  the time
stamp will show in the WebOPAC public view or only in staff modules such as
MilCirc and staff My Millennium, but so far they have not been able to
provide an answer.  We would like to view an example in a WebOPAC if
possible.
