Hi Corey

Thanks for your suggestion, however I have all the authorisations listed
and the Notify checkbox in the patron record is also checked, but still no
luck with the Notify checkboxes when Approving and Acquiring, or Denying.

We also test in-house!!

Regards
Dixie.

My first thought on this is that it is an authorizations issue. If you
go to the users manual and see page# 100820, it will list 17
authorizations that should be assigned to the passwords for people who
are using this function. It could be that you have all the acquisitions
rights, but not all the patron rights (update, etc.). Let us know if
this does the trick.

On a related note, when we were testing this a while back, we did not
realize that we were in fact sending messages instantaneously to the
patron if they have an email in their record. Luckily, it was a friend
of the library because she called and asked why they received four
emails from us saying that they ordered and then canceled this title!
So please do testing with library staff records!

Hope this helps.

Best -- Corey
