- Subject: Keyword searching with internal truncation in WebPAC
Searching wom*n in the WebPAC will retrieve hits for woman and women,
while searching m*n does not retrieve any hits (man or men). We suspect
that there needs to be at least 2 character before the * , e.g., as in
sc*re, but we'd like to confirm that others are experiencing the same
results (the manual does not seem to address this, or else we missed
it). If our assumption is correct, how do you search for the keywords
man or men? Is using the keyword "man" OR "men" the only way?
