Ghost item record

Using Millennium Silver:

 

We ran across something that I don't know how to fix.  One of our catalogers
transferred an order record from one bib to another, telling the system to
delete the originating bib.  Then she attached an item record, thinking it
was the correct bib.  Unfortunately, it was the deleted bib that she
attached the item record to (how the system let that happen, I don't know).
Anyway, we're unable to delete that item record now because when we scan
that barcode used for that item record, it says "Record b11423493 deleted on
11-06-2004  Continue anyway?"  If we say Yes, it brings up a blank record
and does not give me the option to delete.  I tried doing a Create List for
this bib record, thinking I might be able to use the "Delete Records of Any
Type" option, but create list does not list this record.  I also tried
"Delete Item Records" in telnet, but that didn't work, either.  Anyone have
any ideas how I can get rid of this ghost item record?  TIA
