Inconsistent Web opac search results

We are experiencing some inconsistent search results on the web, and
were wondering if anyone else has experienced this.  We have an open
ticket with the helpdesk, but have yet to get a response.  

(of course, if you try the search again, the results are correct!!  We
are
wondering if it was a caching problem)

Here is an example of the search:
Subject: Seasons fiction, limit to: juvenile collection.
Got a brief citation list of the first 12 out of 48 total
Chose number 5: "Cats, Hats, Socks, & Mittens, a Book about the Four
Seasons" from brief citation list.
The item that came up for "Full Record display 5 of 48"  was Fall is
Not Easy" (originally item 10 from brief citation page).  When return
to
list was chosen, The original list (that initial 12 brief citations)
is
re-sequenced, and item 5 is "Fall is Not Easy".
