keep brief display brief

Hi All,

We are on Release 2002 Phase 3.

I am trying to work on a new design for our catalogue, using the staging 
server.
The first step of course is to synchronise the 2 wwwoptions files so that the
functionality is the same. Then I can do the fancy table stuff.

The problem I'm having is with the Brief display on Keyword Searches. On 
our current
system, when you do a keyword search, as long as there is more than one 
result, you
get a one-line display for each title.

However on the staging server, which just has the III default interface, 
the result
screen has about 6 lines per title, including publication details, 
circulation availability,
request button, full record button and a format icon.  Where do I turn all 
of this off??

The problem is similar in Author and Title searches, except you do get an 
initial 1-line
screen, but then once you choose an author with multiple titles, the 
entries are as above.

I've been reading the General Display and Behavior Options in the Manual 
and trying different
things with the BRIEF option, but that only seems to affect that initial 
1-line screen, not
the next one. HELP!
