We just purchased three Symbol LS4007i USB scanners. We run XP so it
recognized the hardware immediately, but we did have to run the scripts to
make it work for Millennium (takes about a minute).

Subject: USB Barcode scanner

Does anyone have experience using a USB Barcode scanner (not the keyboard
wedge kind), with Millennium Circ (Release 2002 Phase 3)? If you do use USB

barcode scanners, did it just work by pluggin the scanner in or were
there scripts or something else that you had to do (aside from drivers
that had to be loaded).
