Aaron,
When we were using crash mailers, we used the Tally 2130 from our original
Dynix system. For the most part, it worked well; but, we did need to
purchase an attachment to make it a network printer.
That said, we switched to regular letter paper for our notices several
months ago. After we went live on Innovative, we quickly discovered that
this system is not as "crash mailer friendly" as Dynix was. To include all
of the information for each item on the notice, we were limited to two items
per notice. So, if a patron had three items overdue, two notice forms would
be printed.
If you're interested, I have a Word document that outlines the Innovative
settings we had used for our crash mailers. I also have a Tally 2130 I
could sell you. :-)
Good luck to you as you work through your migration!

Subject: Notice Printer
Hi All,
We are getting ready to setup our machine for printing notices. We
use Crash mailers and I was wondering what you have found that works
well for printing these. We will need something durable but I don't
need anything as big as a line printer, kind of between the standard
desktop and the line printer. What do you reocmmend?
