Customizable Web OPAC pages - Proxy Rewrite

Hey everyone, 
I am trying to modify the authentication script using proxy rewrite. I
create a file called pverify2_web.html. When I add text to the file,
everything shows up correctly, but when I use tokens such as
<!--{toplogo}--> or botlogo or any other tokens nothing displays on the
page. I copied a sample provided on the III documentation and still nothing
displays, can anybody help me out with this. I can just copy the code on the
tokens but then I would be just reinventing the wheel.
