Authroity control in Silver.

Just double checking this, to make sure that I am not labouring under any
misapprehension. Are there major changes to the way authority control works
in Silver (please say yes!). It is not clear to me looking at the
documentations that expected enhancements such as a link between
bibliographic and authority records are in place. Assuming they are, can any
Silver user give me some info on how the maintenance of authority records is
improved in Silver.
