Hi Doug,

Our journal title index contains 222 and 229.

229 is a tag we made up so that the meaning of the 222 would be preserved
while we include whatever we want in the index. We're happy with it, but
could use some more volunteer time to fill in the desired 229s.

Subject: Journal title access

Hi everyone,

What MARC field do you have your journal title index mapped to? We have
had it mapped to the 222, but we are finding this problematic now that
many e-journals don't have 222s and even some print journals don't have
a 222. From what I know, a 222 is a field that has to be created by a
national agency and we can't create our own even it just copies the 245.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Doug
