Hi Carol-

I contacted Innovative with pretty much the same question - why aren't
the INNOPAC & MILLENNIUM versions of the headings report the same?

III responded that the lists are not coming from one file - there are 2
headings reports files, 1 for INNOPAC, 1 for Millennium, & the 2 files
are not(!) synchronized.

When I've compared the headings reports, it appears that headings from
records that are downloaded appear on both reports. But, if headings are
added/changed, etc. in Mill. quick editor, the headings will only show
up in the Mill. headings report, and NOT in the text headings report.
I'm not sure if the reverse is true (headings edited in text based only
appear in text headings report), it seems like sometimes the headings
are on the Mill. list & sometimes not, (but this may also be a result of
the different "limit to these programs" options available in Mill.)

Also, depending on what you limit your report to in the text based (for
example, we limit our report to "Function done by user", "Downloading" &
"Updating" records), there may not be an exact equivalent in the Mill.
limits (we limit to "Record loading" and "Record Maintenance", which
also seems to pull in keyed in record headings), so your list may appear
different due to those factors as well.

Needless to say, I'm less than thrilled about the situation!

Hope this helps.

Does anyone know the difference between the text-based and Millennium
headings reports? I cannot find any information on CSDirect or the User
Manual about this issue. At first I thought the Millennium interface
was a gui interface to the same headings reports found in text-based but
the report don't seem to contain the same information. I'm stumped.
I've opened a call with III but haven't heard back yet.

Can anyone clear the air on this one?
