This is definitely a very useful feature of the character-based version of Create Lists, and has been included in lists of "Character does, Millennium doesn't" features that we prepare for III as part of the IUG enhancements process. I have never heard that Innovative doesn't think that this is important, or that there were no plans to include this in the Millennium version of the program, but I'll follow up on it.

We asked about this when we began using Millennium. Our Systems office told
us that Millennium doesn't include the "Limit listing to a particular subset
of records? (y/n)" capability, and that Innovative didn't think it was
important. I was surprised at that response--we make extensive use of this
capability in the character-based interface and I think it limits the
usefulness of Millennium create lists to the extent that I revert to the use
of the character-based interface for this function.

Subject: Create lists to Millennium questions

In the INNOPAC when you LIST RECORDS, after the fields were selected to

list, the prompt "Limit listing to a particular

subset of records? (y/n)" comes up. Is there an equivalent to this in

Millennium create lists? I cannot seem to find

it.
