- Subject: Serials claiming - is there a claim cycle?
Hello,
I have a question about claiming late serials. Is there a certain
amount of time that has to pass between Claim 1 and Claim 2 (similar to
the claim cycles in acquisitions - manual Page # 103037) or are they
counted by frequency of claims? (for example if we run serials claims
every six weeks, the Claim number is incremented by running serials
claims.) It has been noted that if claiming is run on concurrent days
(if there was a problem with the results of the first day) the same
titles are not claimed on the second day (if that makes any sense) so we
are trying to figure out if there is a certain minimum amount of time
that passes between each claim.
Thanks!
