We have implemented the Silver version of AVS, with the multiple search
boxes, and have discovered that the keyword search functionality will not
work using either Internet Explorer or Safari on a Mac. Although it does
work using Firefox or Netscape, both Mozilla based, it is difficult
conveying to our patrons that only selected browsers will work with our
catalog.
I have checked several different catalogs, other than the UO's, and
consistently see the inability to execute a keyword search.
Has anyone else seen this or have a solution?
I have opened a call with Innovative on this.
