Library, located in the beautiful wine country, hosts a variety of
amenities including an Automated Retrieval System, wireless technology,
an Information Commons and a café.

We are seeking motivated and creative professionals to join our
fast-paced and forward-thinking library faculty.  We have opportunities
in our instruction and technical services programs for individuals who

team environment.  This is a library in which ideas and collegiality
flourish, and librarians truly make a difference in the education of
students.  The successful candidates will have excellent interpersonal
and communication skills; a strong commitment to student success; and
effective analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.  They
will join a team that collaborates on library projects and programs,
including planning and evaluation; participates in library and campus
cultural activities; and contributes to outreach efforts and projects
in support of librarywide and campus initiatives.    Shared
responsibilities include providing reference service to a diverse
community and participating in collection development and faculty
liaison responsibilities.

For the Technical Services position, knowledge of cataloging standards
is required, along with current awareness of new trends, standards, and
emerging technologies in cataloging and technical services.
Responsibilities of the position may include: cataloging materials in
all formats and applying metadata where appropriate; participating in
the management of the Innovative Interfaces Millennium system,
including database maintenance;  and coordinating aspects of
acquisitions and/or government documents.

The position requires an ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent. Before applying

RANK AND SALARY: Appointment will be at the rank of Senior Assistant
Librarian, salary range of $50,100-$55,000, commensurate with
qualifications and experience.
