At the University of Massachusetts Amherst, we have used Acode1 to mark
authority records that we want to send to our authority vendor for removal
from our master file if we no longer have bibliographic records that
correspond to the authority records. It is easy to gather the marked
records into review files (one for name/title records, one for subjects),
export the files, and delete the records.

Subject: use of fixed fields in authority records

Hi,

We , VCOB (a Belgian customer of Millennium) , have following question,
raised during our profiling and migration cycle:

Within the authority record there are 2 fixed fields.Currently, VCOB does
not use them. Is it possible to have some information how this fields
could be used?
For witch reasons they are used by other Millennium customers ?

All your answers are helpfull !

Thanks,
Marleen.
