It seems to work for me if I put in, for example,
Open 730
Close 2500
This makes the time after midnight, but the same workday. I don't
understand it, but try it.
Another hint: I always allow one more hour after the actual closing. In
this way, a room key returned after closing is still figured as late.
I found out that something checked in after the closing time, kicks it to
the next day.
