Does this mean that the preferred searches are kept and can be accessed
by staff. I had assumed that preferred searches are not accessible to
staff since they are not part of the patron record seen in staff mode.
Previous messages on this seem to indicate that the reading history
could be accessed by staff. Does this mean the preferred searches are
also accessible? Are libraries alerting patrons to the privacy issues
in the Patriot Act concerning preferred searches?

III told me it was just like the preferred searches. The only way to
get rid of it is for the patron to delete it before they close their
account.

Another question:

Is the reading history deleted if the patron record is deleted?

If not, how does (or will) it go away?

Enhancement??

Thanks
